Mr. Dave White Jr.

“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.” Psalms 121:1-2

Dave White was born August 12, 1927, to proud parents, Mr. Dave White, Sr., and Eurcina White, who preceded him in death. Dave was one of six siblings, Eddie White, Thomas White, Earnest White, Annie Bell, and Mary Bell Williams, all of whom preceded him in death. Dave confessed Christ on July 15, 1966, at Mourning Star Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Reverend C.R. Redden. Dave was employed at Valley Steel, Tallulah Academy, and also worked several years at Talla Bena Farms. Dave departed this life peacefully on November 11, 2019, at the Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah, LA.

To his first union with Ada Bell Price, six children were born, Beatrice (Hayward) Fair, Carl (Auttry Mae) White, Daisy Jenkins, Wayne White, and two sons who preceded him in death, Dave Leon White and Bobby White.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted wife, Thelma Houston-White; three stepchildren, Ronnie Guice, Lisa Houston, and Katina Houston; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
