In The Beginning
Brother Bennie Lee Robinson was born on January 2, 1954, in Madison Parish, to the late Dorothy Mae Robinson and Johnny Robinson, Sr. He accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and became a member of New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church.
Jesus, The Author and Publisher of His Faith
Brother Bennie Lee Robinson found peace on January 18, 2021, at his home in Tallulah, Louisiana. Jesus so gracefully swept him away to a place of serenity to rest.
A Time to Mourn
He was preceded in eternal life by: his mother and father, Dorothy Mae Robinson and Johnny Robinson, Sr.; his grandparents, Eliza and Riley Whitaker and Katie and Robert Robinson; one sister, Bobbie Jean Robinson-Carroll; and two brothers, Jessie J. Robinson and Eddie Ellis.

Bennie Lee Robinson left to cherish his precious presence and memories: his daughter, LaKesha (Gary) Stewart of Tallulah, LA; his son, Benjamin L. Garner of Modesto, CA; five brothers, Willie Lee (Joe Ann) Robinson, Frank Robinson, Pastor Johnny (Tonia) Robinson, Jr., and Calvin (Tonya) Robinson, all of Tallulah, LA, and Tony (Jackie) Robinson of Delhi, LA; three sisters, Willie Mae Robinson and Joe Ann (Larry) Harvey of Tallulah, LA, and Mary Ann (Al) Bartie of Monroe, LA; a special niece, Angelia (Willie) Blair of Tallulah, LA; sisters and brothers, Doris Vaughn Johnson, James Vaughn, Patricia Vaughn, Calvin Vaughn, Georgette Moore, and Kenneth Vaughn; an aunt; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
