Leatha was born to Rosie Glass Watts and Julius Watts on June 9, 1937, in West Monroe, LA. Leatha began her relationship with the Lord at an early age. She was baptized at Mt. Zion B.C., under the pastorage of the late Rev. J.B. Brown. Leatha graduated from Boley High School. She did further study at the Business School in West Monroe, LA. Leatha married Joe Anthony Woods in 1959 and later moved to Seattle, WA.
Leatha retired from Atena Maintenance Co.
Leatha entered Heavenly rest on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at Swedish Hospital in Seattle, WA.
Leatha leaves fond memories to: two aunts, Muriel Reliford of Columbia, LA and Ida Hester of Chatham, LA; nieces, Ida Wilson of Seattle WA, Penny Ervin of Atlanta, GA, Paula Woods of Ocean Shores, WA. Adrienne Woods Willis, Arcadia, La. and Andrea Woods Goods of Little Rock, AK; stepdaughter, Jo Antoinette Woods of Seattle, WA; a very special neighbor, Jason Young of Seattle, WA; and numerous other relatives and friends.
