D’Mario “Dee” Pierson was born November 5, 1979, to parents Lottie (Pierson) Hughes and the late Albert Williams, Sr. He confessed Christ at an early age. He was preceded in death by his father Albert Williams, Sr.; grandmother Essie Williams, grandfather Major Williams, Sr.; and a niece Shakeriona Edwards.
He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving mother, Lottie (Clarence) Hughes; a daughter, Joy Jones of Tallulah; sisters, Shreika Pierson, of Tallulah, LA, and Tasha (Pierson) Hughes, of Las Vegas, NV; brothers, Albert Williams, Jr., Darryl Williams, Anthony Crockett, and Chris Crockett, all of Tallulah, LA; a blessed and loving grandmother, Versa Duncan; a grandchild; a special friend, April Lloyd of Colorado; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
D’Mario attended high school at McCall High and Tallulah High, where he was a member of the track team at both schools. He graduated with the class of 1998 at Tallulah High. He furthered his education at Louisiana Tech University Ruston, LA. He continued on to Ashford University where he received his Bachelor of Art degree in Psychology (Online), San Diego, CA, and a Master’s of Art Psychology/specialization in Organizational Leadership from the University of the Rockies, Colorado Springs, CO.
