Jesse Lynch was born to the union of Nina Mae Ellis and Thomas Lynch on May 15, 1945, in Gilbert, Louisiana. He was the second of their five children; Lennie (Louis) Skipper, Monroe, LA; Thomas Edward Lynch and Terry Lynch, Chicago, IL; and Micheal (Beverly) Lynch, Saginaw, MI, half-sister Lisa (James) Whitlock. He was the father of four; Mark Winslow, La Place, LA; Betty Head, Hewitt, TX; Andre Craft, Monroe, LA; Ramon Lynch, Columbia, South Carolina by his former wife, Mary Williams. He is the grandfather of 14 and great grandfather of 11.
He confessed Christ at an early age and became a member of Old Macedonia Baptist Church, Gilbert, LA under the leadership of Rev. Johnnie H. Wesley. He later united with the Mt. Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Ike Byrd, III.
Jesse loved fishing and listening to Zydeco music. He was a faithful employee of Hixson Ford until his retirement in 2010. He was a devoted father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nina Mae and Thomas Lynch.
