Johnnie B. Clark was born in the Parish of Madison in Tallulah, Louisiana on May 3, 1952. He was the youngest son of Nathan and Fannie Clark, who preceded him in death.
He confessed Christ at an early age at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, under the late Reverend R. Cannon.
After finishing McCall High School, he relocated to Los Angeles, California, where he worked at ABC-NABET until he retired.
He was a music enthusiast and enjoyed classic-rock, gospel, blues, and any type of music that would give him comfort and contentment at any given time. He was a quiet, calm, and peaceful person.
After a brief illness, Johnnie departed this life on Thursday morning July 11, 2019, at his home.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: sons, Jonathan and Jeremy Clark, both of Pasadena, California; brothers, Nathan Clark, Jr. (Rubysteen), Fred Ray Clark (Betty), Matthew Lee Clark (Yvonne), and Leroy Clark (Charm), of Tallulah, Louisiana; two sisters, Bobby Bagby (Alvin) of Tallulah, Louisiana and Doris Scott (who preceded him in death); and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
