Mickeal Dariell Ellis also known as “Cool Dude”, was born April 23, 1971 at Lincoln General Memorial Hospital in Ruston, LA, to Gloria Ellis-Elmore and Larry Hubbard. Mickeal accepted Christ at an early age. He was baptized at Morning Star Baptist Church in Ruston, LA, under the leadership of Rev. Allen Diamond. His knowledge of Christ was reinforced from his childhood and throughout his adult life by his praying, loving, and devoted mother. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and friends. God blessed Mickeal to rekindle a closer, deeper, loving, and more fruitful relationship with his daughter, Brittani Gaines. He was an avid sports fan. He proudly accompanied his daughter, Ya’Vonna Ellis, to many of her athletic events. He loved all of his children.
