Robert “Fly” Dykes, was born to the proud parents, the late John L. Dykes and the late Beatrice Dykes in Tallulah, LA.
Robert was baptized in June 2002 under the leadership of Reverend Johnny Huges. He served as a Deacon there in First Baptist Church.
Robert graduated from Reuben McCall High School in 1972. He served in the United States Army with honorary discharge. He worked numerous jobs employed by Magnolia Commons.
Robert was a proud father of the late Camelia Jones, his son, Shamar Dykes and stepson Ladarius and grand father.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John L. Dykes and Beatrice Dykes, brother, Herman Dykes and daughter, Camelia Jones.
He leaves to cherish is his memories his two sons, Sharmar Dykes, Lacarris Turner and grandkinds, all of Hermanville, MS.; five sisters, Ottis M. Dykes of Los Angeles, CA., Juanita Dykes of Dallas, Texas, Delores A. Haney of Tallulah, LA., Sharon D. Dykes Day (Roy) of Tallulah, LA.; four brothers, Lee Edward Dean Dykes of Las Vegas,
