Mrs. Jackie " Mookie " (Joyce) Daniels

Jackie Lynn Joyce was born August 21, 1954, to the late Enoch and Alice Mae Joyce in Waterproof, Louisiana. She was the mother of two children, Trudie Denise Daniels and J.C. Daniels III. Jackie confessed Christ at an early age and spent all her childhood at Shiloh Baptist Church, Waterproof, Louisiana, under the leadership of Pastor A.E. Durham. In later years, she joined Greater Mt. Olive Baptist Church, under the then leadership of Pastor Dennis Redden. Jackie went to Lisbon Elementary School and graduated from Waterproof High School. Jackie was a good cook and a caring CNA, and took care of a lot of people with love and devotion. Jackie was preceded in death by her father, Enoch Joyce; mother, Alice Joyce; brother, Calvin Joyce; and son, J.C. Daniels III. She leaves to cherish her memory: one daughter, Trudie Denise Daniels of Dallas, Texas; one brother, Rodney Joe Joyce (Sue) of Waterproof, Louisiana; one sister, Nelda J. Carter of Tallulah, Louisiana; three grandchildren, Camden, Cameron, and Chloe Daniels; nieces and nephews; a special friend, Ben Jackson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
