Ms. Deidra Lynette Hunter

 Ms. Deidra Lynette Hunter was born on May 16, 1976, to Gracie Marie Hunter and Samuel Dean Hunter, Jr. She silently departed life on Sunday, December 29, 2019, at Merit Health River Region Hospital in Vicksburg, Mississippi, surrounded by her family. Deidra accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age. She was an active choir member at St. Paul’s Missionary Baptist Church. She loved to play on her iPad and to color her puzzles. Deidra touched everyone she met with her smile and huge heart. Deidra was preceded in death by a sister, grandmothers, and grandfathers. She leaves to cherish her memories: her mother, Gracie Hunter of Tallulah, Louisiana; her father, Samuel Hunter, Jr., of Tallulah, Louisiana; her sister, Pamela Coleman of Long Beach, California; her brothers, Patrick (Janice) Hunter, Sr., of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Samuel (Shaketha) Hunter III, of McKinney, Texas and Gary James of Tallulah, Louisiana; her godmother, Mamie Harris; one of her favorite aunts, Dorothy Crockett; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
