Rasberry " Peewee " Reece Jr.

RasBerry (Peewee) Reece was born June 22, 1941 in Epps, Louisiana, and passed from this life surrounded by his loving family at 11:25 am on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Cornerstone Hospital in West Monroe at the age of 78. He married his wife Barbara on June 22, 1965 and was a long-time resident of Tallulah.

PeeWee will be remembered for his easy smile, his lifelong friendships, and his willingness to lend a helping hand to others. He never met a stranger and was always the life of the party.

He is preceded in death by his parents RasBerry and Beulah and three siblings: Clyde Reece, James Reece, and Ricky Reece.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 54 years, Barbara Reece and their children, Jeannie Childers and husband Danny of Vicksburg, Mississippi; and Brad Reece and wife Kammy of Spring, Texas. Grandchildren include Caleb Philley, Kristen Philley, Mason Reece, Madison Reece, and Morgan Reece, as well as two great-grandchildren Jace Philley and Briar Philley. Siblings include Carolyn Collins of Laurel, Mississippi; David Reece of Louisville, Kentucky; Betty Harris of Tallulah; Virginia Mangrum of Bismarck, Arkansas; John Reece of Tallulah; and Addie Wilhelmi of Louisville, Kentucky as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
