Sister Tamesia Crye
was born on August 11, 1974, in Tallulah, Louisiana. Her parents were Hazel Jean Crye and Billy Owens. She was born a twin. Her twin brother, Clayton, was born a few minutes before her.
She was baptized at East Star Missionary Baptist Church, by Apostle Leroy Robinson and Kenny McDonald. East Star is pastored by Rev. Tommie Watson.
She attended Reuben McCall High School.
Tamesia loved her family. She held a special place in her heart for her twin brother, Clayton Sr. She enjoyed listening to music, cooking, eating soul food, and going different places.
Tamesia was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bennie and Julia Crye; aunts, Lucy Kline, Louise Johnson, and Vera Richardson; and uncles, James L. Crye and Bennie Crye, Jr.
She loved the Lord and was rewarded on Monday, May 27, 2019, when the angels escorted her to her heavenly home.
Tamesia leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Hazel Crye; brother, Clayton Crye, Sr.; six aunts, Daisy Crye of Tallulah, Louisiana, Betty Kennedy, Dorothy Rogers, and Donnie Jones, all of Aurora, Illinois. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and many others whom she has touched throughout her journey
