Gloria Mae (Lewis) Kyle

Gloria Mae Lewis Kyle was born July 19, 1953, in Natchez, Mississippi to the late Irene Jones and Lee Lewis, Jr. She departed this life on August 29, 2019, at the Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah, Louisiana. Gloria accepted Christ at an early age at Rosehill Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Jake Jones, and later joined Pleasant Grove #2 in Tallulah, Louisiana. She was a faithful member until her health declined.

She graduated from McCall High School in 1972 in Tallulah, Louisiana. Gloria worked at Delta Haven in Tallulah, Louisiana for many years. After her departure from Delta Haven, she was a dedicated caregiver for several families in Tallulah, Louisiana.

She married Walter Lee Kyle in 1974. She was preceded in death by both parents, one son, Samuel Kyle, and a niece, Camelia Jones. 

She leaves her legacy to: her daughter, Irene (Ben) Hawkins; her loving sister, Alice Earl Jones; brother, Clyde (Bronis) Bell of New Orleans, Louisiana; grandchildren, Datania, Ta’Shia, and Ziana Chandler, all of Tallulah, Louisiana; and godchildren, Andre (Karen) Cooper and Sherry Moffett, both of Tallulah, Louisiana; and a host of special nephews, nieces, cousins, friends, and other extended family
