Henry Peterson

Henry Lee Peterson was born January 28, 1947 in Tallulah, LA, to Lieutenant Peterson and Willie Mae Jackson Peterson, who preceded him in death. He departed this life on October 28, 2019, at Merit Region Medical Center in Vicksburg, MS. He was married to Evelyn Brown Peterson. To this union, three children were born, one who preceded him in death.

Henry Peterson, Jr., attended Madison Parish Training School, later named Reuben McCall High School. He was a truck driver for several years.

He leaves to cherish and mourn his memories: a wife, Evelyn Peterson of Tallulah, LA.; two daughters, Doris Peterson of Monroe, LA, and Pamela Hawkins of Tallulah, LA; two sons, Orlando Peterson of Tallulah, LA and Morris Hawkins of Las Vegas, Nevada; one stepdaughter, Yolanda L. Brown of Tallulah, LA; one stepson, James E. Brown of Tallulah, LA; three sisters, Pearlie Baker (M.C.) of Las Vegas, NV, Georgia Johnson of Tallulah, LA, and Lena Jackson of Epps, LA; four brothers, Robert Jackson (Brenda) of Vicksburg, MS, Ernest Jackson of Tallulah, LA, Benny Jackson (Mary) of Tallulah, LA, and Michael Jackson (Sharon) of Tallulah, LA.; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins,  and friends; one special daughter, Shakailah (Miss Kitty) Reed; one special son, Armand Reed; and a special friend, Isabelle Reed, all of Arlington, Texas.
