Ida James

For dust you are and to dust you shall return

Ms. Ida James was born September 4, 1925, to the late Lillie Foster and James Wells, on Lake St. John in Waterproof, LA. She later moved to Newellton, LA, where she lived until she was called home. Her favorite times were thanking the Lord and fishing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, three children, & the late Pete James.

She leaves to cherish her memories: six children, Lillie Idleburgh, Janie James, Michael James of Newellton, LA, Sam (Mary) James of Tallulah, LA, Terry (Leola) James of Lake Providence, LA, and Charles (Mary D.) James of Las Vegas, NV; ten grandchildren and 40 great and great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and a very special friend, Fannie May Rounds.
