Born the eighth child of fifteen children to Henry and Ethel Williams, this beautiful angel from God looked so angelic that it was destined that she would be named “Angelena”. She departed this world on January 16, 1972, at E.A. Conway in Monroe, LA.
Having been reared by two of the Greatest Warriors of God, she accepted Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized in 1981 by the late Reverend L.H. Harris, Sr., at the city baptismal pool in Tallulah. Becoming a member of the First Colored Missionary Baptist Church.
Angelena was a big contributor in the church while here on her earthy journey. She served as a choir member, as Vice President, Youth Committee Member, and served on the culinary committee.
On April 29, 2006, she was united in Holy Matrimony to Toney Barber. Before and during this union, they reared thee children; one girl, two boys, and a godchild. Her marriage to her beloved husband spanned 13 years and nine months until her passing on January 29, 2020.
