Brother
Charles McClodden was born on December 8, 1963, to the proud parents
of Rufus McClodden, Sr., and Elizabeth Jackson Moore of LA. He was the youngest
of six children, full of love and laughter. They called him “Charlie.”
Charles accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and
was baptized at the Mt. Cellar M.B. Chruch under the leadership of Rev.
Roosevelt Williams.
He attended school at and graduated from Tallulah
High School. After graduation from high school, he joined the United States
Army, then became a heavy equipment operator.
Brother Charles was preceded in death by his parents
and Brother Edward McClodden.
He
was summoned home from Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah, LA, on Saturday,
February 6, 2021. He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving companion,
Patrice Lewis; step-daughter and baby girl, Erica Thornton; four siblings,
Rufus (Lorraine) McClodden, Jr., of Tallulah, LA, Bruce Allen McClodden of
Baton Rouge, LA, John McClodden of Tallulah, LA, and Shirley (Alvin) Pierce of
County, FL; and a host of other relatives and friends.
