Dowl Harvey Jr., a proud Vietnam veteran and retired transportation professional, passed away peacefully on July 22nd at Saint Francis Medical Center in Monroe, Louisiana at the age of 79. Mr. Harvey had a way of making everyone feel welcome—he could strike up a conversation with anyone and leave them smiling.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, his children, extended family, and many friends.
A celebration of his life will be held on August 9th at 11:00 AM at Travelers Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Tallulah, Louisiana.
