Mr. Eddie McCall Sr.

On March 25, 1949, Eddie Ray McCall, Sr., was born to the late Lillie Bell Jones and Adrian McCall. He was preceded in death by his brother, Arthur Hayes Grant.

He accepted Christ at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Reverend W.D. Collins. He was employed by Morgan Farms for approximately 40 years. Eddie Ray developed a close relationship with his employer, Chad Morgan and Family. Eddie Ray was a skilled laborer and an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a man who loved his family.

Eddie Ray leaves to cherish his memories: a loving wife, Susie McCall; four children, Peggy (Eric) Hanley of Ruston, Louisiana, Gloria Nell Stapleton (Gordon Allen) of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Jessica McCall of Shreveport, Louisiana, Eddie McCall, Jr. (Heaven), of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and Cometra Thompson; six grandchildren, Erica Stapleton, Aisha Smith, Aerial Allen, Keenan Hanley, Kyle Hanley, Jeremiah McCall, Jestice McCall; two great-grandchildren, Cain Stapleton and O’Marion Stapleton; a loving sister, Eva Nell Killion of Delhi, Louisiana;  sister in law, Gloria Grant of Delhi, Louisiana; and a host of special nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
