Mr. Granison Lee

Granison Lee, Jr., was born September 23, 1947, in Vicksburg, Mississippi, to the late Mary Louella Coleman Lee and the late Granison Lee, Sr. He departed this life on July 25, 2020, at Merit Region Medical Center in Vicksburg, MS. Granison was known by many as “Lee”. He attended school in Newellton, LA. After moving around, he settled down in Tallulah, LA. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Louella Coleman Lee, father, Granison Lee, Sr., brothers, Eddie Lee, Sr., and Curtis Lee, Sr.; daughter, Dorothy Lee-Jones; one stepdaughter, Shequita Drake; five nephews and two nieces. He leaves to cherish his memories: a devoted special partner, Lisa Drake; son, Granison (Lameka Johnson) Cox of Tallulah, LA; daughters, Tami (Kirk) Reed of Jacksonville, FL, Nicole Robinson and Janet Bailey of Las Vegas, NV, and Andrea Charleston of Blytheville, AR; stepdaughters, Calisha Drake and Karla Drake; seven sisters, Lillie Grandberry of Saginaw, MI, Mary (Bobby) Toole of Vicksburg, MS, Hattie Gaines of Saginaw, MI, Lucy Hooker of Las Vegas, NV, Doris (David) Allen, Jr., of Tallulah, LA, Shirley Nichols of Houston, TX, and Rosie (Eugene) Allen of Tallulah, LA; one aunt, Hattie Lucille Qualls of Saginaw, MI; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and a special friend, Clarence “Mr. Dip” Jones
