Leon Bradley, Sr., affectionately known as “Len,” was born on the glorious day of March 25, 1954 in Waterproof, LA to his loving mother, Georgia Bradley. He was one of ten children. He was baptized at an early age at New Zion Baptist Church by Reverend McTier. He attended the public schools of St. Joseph, Louisiana including Tensas Rosenwald Elementary School and Davidson High School, class of 1974. As a youth, he was blessed to meet and marry the love of his life, his elementary school sweetheart, Miss Mable Armstrong, on February 16, 1974. To this union, they were blessed with seven children. They started their life together in New Orleans, LA before buying their first home in Marrero, LA in 1976. To support his family, Len worked for several companies throughout Louisiana including Autocrats, Keebler, Grissom Farm, DHL, and Reeves Transportation. Eventually, Len and his family left Louisiana and moved to Houston, Texas in 1993 making it their home for the next nineteen years. His love for truck driving led him to start his own successful business called Bradley’s Trucking. His business endeavor lasted until 2010 when he retired. After retirement, Len and his wife moved back to New Orleans in 2012 to live a relaxing life. He enjoyed mechanic work, building race cars, and watching drag racing. He and his wife lived a life full of love, compassion, and adventure. Due to a decline in his health, Len and his wife moved back to Houston in 2020.
