Mr. Sam Galvin Jr.

Sam Galvin, Jr., was born to proud parents, Sam and Mildred Galvin, on February 2, 1949 in Madison Parish. Sam accepted Christ in his life at an early age in Waverly, LA. Later, he moved to Tallulah, LA, then to Bastrop, LA for some years before he moved back to Tallulah, LA, where he remained until his death.

On Tuesday, March 30, 2021, God sent his darling angel to carry him home to be with the Lord. He was preceded in death by: his father, Sam Galvin; his mother, Mildred Galvin; sisters, Sarah Killensworth, Dorothy Galvin, and Mattie Galvin; brothers, Tom Galvin, Harvey Knox, Levi Galvin, James Galvin, and Willie Charles Galvin; his wife, Margene Williams; son, Danyal M. Galvin; and a grandson, Samarion Galvin.

He leaves to cherish his memory: one daughter, Sammatha Galvin; three stepdaughters, Tamara Barlow, Lashona Barrett, and LaVonda Berret; three sons, Sammie Galvin, Glen Minor, and Alfred (Alysha) Williams; six sisters, Sally Galvin of Dayton, OH, Marie Johnson of Oakland, CA, Donnie Fountain, Matilda Toldson, Mildred (Robert) Alexander and Ruthie Williams all of Tallulah, LA; seventeen grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends
