Life Reflections
Annie Beatrice McLeod Bradford was born to the late Disbro and Hattie McLeod on January 28, 1932, in Winnsboro, Louisiana. She went home to be with our Heavenly Father on the morning of May 12, 2020.
She accepted Christ at an early age, and later joined Stonewall Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Benny Washington. Annie B., as she was known, was a faithful choir member and soloist in the church.
Annie B. had a servant’s heart with a kind and loving spirit. Her faith in God kept her strong and complete. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother to her family. She loved spending time with family, making and sharing memories.
Annie Beatrice married Eddie Bradford, Jr., on October 4, 1946. To this union were born eleven children, eight daughters and three sons. Two sons preceded her in death.
She is preceded in eternal life by her husband, Eddie Bradford, Jr.; her mother, Hattie McLeod; her father, Disbro McLeod; her brother, Willie Disbro McLeod; her sisters, Hattie Mae McLeod, Arcola Butler, Laura Harrison, and Edna Scott; and her sons, Charles and Stanley Bradford.
She leaves to cherish her memories: son, Willie Bradford of Newellton, LA; daughters, Beatrice Wilson of Daly City, CA, Annette (Al) Mabrie of Hercules, CA, Eva Bradford of Newellton, LA, Bernita (Ronnie) Lewis of Sache, TX, Laura (Mark) Davis of Tulsa, OK, Coetta (Robert) Bradford of Arlington, TX, Claudine Bradford of St. Joseph, LA, and Claudette Bradford of Ruston, LA; two special grandchildren that she partially raised, Quaneshia Bradford of Newellton, LA, and Michael Bradford of Dobson, LA; twenty-five grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
