Mrs. Katherine Roach

Katherine Bolin Roach was born May 22, 1946, in Los Angeles, California, to Albert Bolin and Katherine Wilson. Katherine moved to Tallulah, Louisiana, with her family when she was a little girl.

She received her education from the Madison Parish Education Center. Katherine accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of the Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.

She met and married Eddie Roach in 1964, and to this union two children were born (Ursula and Jackie).

Katherine had five brothers that preceded her in death: Dave Bolin, Albert Bolin, Doyle Bolin, Willie Bolin, and Johnny Bolin. Katherine also had three sisters that preceded her in death: Thelma Bolin, Bertha Atkins, and Albertine Bolin.

She leaves to cherish her memories: one son, Jackie Roach (Lora); one daughter, Ursula Roach; one brother, Jimmy Bolin; two sisters, Geraldine Bolin and Sue Bolin; sister-in-law, Evelyn Bolin; eleven grandchildren; a special niece, Linda Holmes; and a host of nieces, great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
