Mrs. Melzena Bell

Melzena Northern Bell was born March 15, 1953 to proud parents, Morris and Mary Dudley. She attended school at Thomastown High School, where she graduated in 1972. She confessed Christ at an early age at Mt. Able Missionary Baptist Church. Later, she joined in holy matrimony with Joseph Bell. Melzena departed this life on November 10, 2019. 

Melzena was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Bell; parents, Morris and Mary Dudley; sister, Ophelia Patterson; brothers, Willie Durden, Jr., and Lee Andrew Johnson. 

Melzena leaves to cherish her memory: three daughters, Sentrita Northern (Eddie), Shanise Northern, and Stephanie Bell, all of Tallulah, Louisiana; a loving sister, Loretha Dudley; very special nieces, Eboney Dudley and Ayana Lee of Tallulah, Louisiana, and Aquanett Jones (Kelvin) of Chicago, Illinois; special nephews, Tyrone Patterson (Keysa) of Sun Praire, Wisconsin and Tirion Dudley; a special cousin whom she talked to daily, Ruby Mason; five grandchildren, Jayla Nash, Kobe Dorsey, McKinley Dorsey, Mar’Jayia Sanders, and Mar’Niyah Sanders; one great-grandson, Ja’Daylin Parker; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
