Mrs. Rhoda Berry

Rhoda Carol Bolden Berry

was born May 7, 1950, in Madison Parish, LA, to the late Arneitha Bolden. She departed this life on November 7, 2020, to be with God.

Rhoda accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Pleasant Grove #1 under the leadership of Rev. Oscar W. Hamilton until God called her home. 

Rhoda graduated from McCall Sr. High School and attended Jr. College in Mississippi. Later she met and married Elmo Berry, to this union they added a son, Marcus Elmo Berry. In 1979, Rhoda began working for the United States Post Office in Tallulah. She was the first woman letter carrier in Madison Parish at the time.  

She leaves to treasure her memory: two brothers, Willie Bolden and Simmie Bolden of Tallulah, LA; one son, Marcus Berry of Reno, NV; two godsisters, Nicey Williams and Laura Bailey; and a host of other family and friends who will miss her dearly.
