Chasity Monique Jackson was born on December 22, 1989, to Carrie Jackson and Major James, Jr., in Monroe, LA. She grew up in Tallulah and graduated from Madison High School in 2010. She was a member of First Colored Missionary Baptist Church, pastored by Gerald J. Williams.
Chasity was employed with McDonald’s Restaurant until her untimely death. She was admired by her colleagues. Although Chasity had no biological children, she was devoted to being a great provider for her Godchild, La’Erica. Chasity was known for her beautiful smile and sweet spirit. She loved her family unconditionally and shared an extremely close relationship with her cousins.
On the morning of February 15, 2020, God whispered, “Well done, good and faithful servant” (Matthew 25:23). Proceeding her to Glory were her maternal grandparents: Doretha Jackson and Mark Adams; paternal grandparents: Dilila and Major James, Sr.; Toreatha Jackson and Jeanette James; and uncle, Alex James.
Cherishing and celebrating Chasity’s journey: her loving and devoted parents: Carrie Jackson and Major James, Jr.; her stepdad who went over and beyond for his stepkids; James Johnson; three sisters: Shamekia Williams (Tyrone), Demetrius Jackson, and Charlotte Carter, all from Tallulah, LA; one brother, Jermaine Jackson (Letitia) from Tallulah, LA; a special sister, Sheila Grayson (Kelvin) from Monroe, LA; her godchild: LaErica Oliver; special aunts: Geraldine, Mary, Virginia, Veronica, Monette, and Mildred; special uncles: James and Charlie Jackson; special friends; Parnelle McNeal and Fadonna Anderson; and nieces and nephews: Zakiya, Zacarrien, Genesis, Emeri, Malik, Troyricka, Johntai, Janorris, Jeremiah, Zakkira, Devin, Kevin, KaiDence, Tamara, Symotriana, Asia, Myles, and Bleu Major.
