Ms. Donna Williams

Donna Cherie Williams was born to the parentage of the late Christine Williams and Sam Shears. Donna accepted Christ under the leadership of the late Reverend Roosevelt England. She was a member of Mt. Siani under the leadership of Pastor Terry Moore. She made the decision to join the family church New China Grove, St. Joseph, LA, under the leadership of Pastor Isaiah Ross, where she remained faithful until her death. Donna enjoyed the fellowship and loved her church family. She was always anxious to share the good news of Jesus after attending a service. Donna was a homemaker and loved preparing delectable meals for her family. She was an on-the-go person, traveling here and there for others. She was preceded in death by her uncle Joseph Williams. Donna Cherie leaves to cherish her memory: four children, LaKethia Williams, Disheika Williams, Na’Jorris Gilbert, and Decouris Williams; and two grandchildren, Frederic Green, Jr., and Emarion Williams. She also leaves to cherish her memory: four sisters, Michelle Williams, Acondolia (Tony) Pearson, Tiffany Shears, and Stacy Shears; two brothers, Kenneth (Gloria) Williams and Michael Williams; three aunts, Verdia Dee, Audrey Williams, and Wanda (James) Williams; five uncles, Howard (Fannie) Williams, Roosevelt (Betty) Williams, Clyde Williams, Calvin (Jackie) Williams, Leroy Squirrel Shields, and Joseph Williams preceded her in death; one great aunt, Annie M. Henderson; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
