Ja’Nisha Janae Ford was born on June 21, 2004, in Jackson, Mississippi, to parents Constance Renae Ford and Johnny Mack Ford, Jr. Ja’Nisha transitioned to her heavenly home on May 13, 2020, in the comfort of her home.

“Precious” was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Pastor Parlee Kelly and Leonard Kelly and Marie Bernard and Samuel Ford; her maternal grandmother, Linda Mae McGee; and three uncles, George Kelly, Malcolm Ford, and Kevin Kelly, Sr.

She leaves to cherish: her loving parents, Constance Ford and Johnny Ford, Jr.; her maternal grandfather, Charles Ford, Sr., of Arlington, TX; her paternal grandparents, Adele Ford of Clayton, LA, and Johnny Ford, Sr., of Waterproof, LA; one sister, Ja’Niqua Ford, and one brother, Carlos Ford, both of Baton Rouge, LA; three aunts, Barbara Carter of Clayton, LA, Victoria McGee of Ferriday, LA, and Lisa (Zelvin) Smith of New Orleans, LA; seven uncles, Brian (Tangila) Kelly of Cedar Hill, TX, Spencer (Sherill) Kelly of Jackson, MS, Jordan (Sharhonda) Wise and Charles Ford, Jr., both of Arlington, TX, Johnell Crockett of New Orleans, LA, Calvin (Pamela) Henderson of Monroe, LA, and Brian (Gayle) Miles of Jackson, MS; a special God-given sister, Devyn Brown of Ferriday, LA; a very special cousin, Courtney Kelly; her special best friend, Aunt Peggy; two special aunts, Jane Kelly and Emsley Brown; and a host of cousins, aunts, and uncles.
