Sharon Ballard Phillips went to be with the Lord at University Medical Center. She was a native of Vicksburg, Ms. Sharon was the daughter of the late John O. and Evelyn Ballard. She is survived by her husband Evan and three children: Angela White of Tallulah, LA, Billy Brooks and Howard “Vern” Brooks both of Brandon, MS; three brothers: Kenneth Ballard of Vicksburg, MS, David Ballard of Pearl, MS, and Joseph Ballard of Vicksburg, MS; Six grandchildren: Robby Thornton of Tallulah, LA, Tiffany Welch of Tallulah, LA, Tyler Foreman of Waterloo, AL, Kristin Bates and Skylar Rutherford both of Sheffield, AL. and Garrett Fealko of Center Pointe, LA. She also leaves ten great-grandchildren. Sharon was a loving mother and wife, and was loved by all who met her; she will be dearly missed.
